Movement prisons in the nude was born precisely from a mobilization on May 11, 2012, as mothers, wives and daughters of inmates marched naked along the Main Street of Bogotá D.C. demanding decent conditions of imprisonment for their relatives inside prisons, drawing the attention of the media and putting on the national news context a broad debate on the problems faced by Latin American countries in the prison system.
