The MCD Foundation strengthens its work through the talent and time that professionals from different areas donate for the Common Good, becoming generators of change.
Programs with universities, through institutional agreements, as well as our corporate volunteers, have strengthened the management of the foundation and this has allowed us to expand our range of action, thus reaching practically the 136 prisons that Colombia has.

They make a monthly financial contribution to the development of activities and projects that benefit the prison population (intramural or postponed)
strategic allies
They have no financial obligations and are all those non-profit organizations, or higher education or research institutions, interested in carrying out joint work with the MCD Foundation, as the joint work is carried out will value their contribution and according to the final amount will be classified in one of the above categories.
Financiers of specific actions and projects of MCD
Natural or legal persons (they may be public entities, international bodies and NGOs) who contribute financial resources for the implementation of a project or a specific action of the foundation and are not partners and therefore have no rights or obligations.
MCD bond subscribers
Natural or legal persons interested in generally supporting MCD's activities through its annual linkage. The value of these bonds may be paid to any association of the person underwriting them as a member of the Corporation in any of the first three categories referred to in this article.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF LINKING TO MCD?
Donations for access to justice
In accordance with Article 126-2 of the tax statute (E. T),”taxpayers who make donations to foundations and organizations dedicated to the defense, protection and promotion of human rights and access to justice, have the right to deduct from income, 125% of the value of donations made during the taxable year or period".
That is, for every million ($1,000,000) pesos that a person or entity donated to MCD to invest in access to justice programs, that person is entitled to a deduction from the respective year's gross income of one million two hundred and fifty thousand pesos ($1,250,000) and therefore his income tax is reduced by three hundred and twelve thousand five hundred pesos ($312,500).
